HOW SOON CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Broadway Hair Studio tends to book up two weeks in advance (or even further out during the busy holiday season) so we recommend scheduling an appointment at least two weeks early. We’d love to hear from you. Secure your date with one of our talented stylists today!
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express) and cash. All debit cards are processed as credit. No personal checks are accepted.
DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
On the day of your appointment please arrive on time. We’d prefer that you arrive 10 minutest early so you can relax and enjoy your treatment and experience. If you are running late, we will do everything we can to accommodate you. If you are excessively late, please be aware that we may have to reschedule your appointment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request a minimum of 24 hours notice. Thank you. 🙂

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO CUT MY HAIR?
Short hair every 4 weeks to keep the same style. Medium to long length, every 6-8 weeks for split ends.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO TOUCH UP MY ROOTS?
Every 4 weeks to cover natural hair color.
REMOVING HAIR COLOR?
If you have colored black hair and want to go lighter, it may take a couple treatments based on the requested color of your hair.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TOUCH UP MY HIGHLIGHTS?
It is recommended that you touch up highlights every 3 months depending on how fast your hair grows.
EXTENSION FAQS
IS A HAIR EXTENSION CONSULTATION NECESSARY?
Broadway Hair Studio requires a free consultation prior to installation even if you are currently wearing hair extensions. The free consultation is the first step to the extension process. The stylist must make sure that extensions are right for you, look natural, and will fit into your lifestyle and budget. The stylist must also know what materials are needed and how much time to allot for the installation.
WHAT IS THE BEST EXTENSION METHOD?
The “best method” would be one that suits your hair type as well as your lifestyle. Our free consultation will assist you in making the right decision.
HOW MUCH DO EXTENSIONS COST?
Hair costs vary from person to person, so pricing cannot be listed. All clients are free to provide their own hair. For an exact quote, please book a free consultation.
WHY DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Extensions are a lengthy process that require the stylist set aside a large amount of time. As all visits are scheduled by appointment only. To prevent no calls/no shows, the stylist requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to guarantee compensation if a client cannot make the appointment. If the client is able to cancel or reschedule 24 hours before scheduled appointment, the deposit is held for 365 days and used toward the client’s next scheduled visit.
HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR HAVE TO BE?
It is best to have at least 4 inches on the crown to have natural flowing extensions.
DO EXTENSIONS DAMAGE HAIR?
All extensions put stress on the hair which can result in damage. It is your sole responsibility to properly care for and maintain your extensions so you may eliminate or reduce the risk of damage.
DO EXTENSIONS LOOK NATURAL?
Yes, at Broadway Hair Studio we make sure that we take the time to ensure natural-looking extensions.
WHAT TYPE OF HAIR DO YOU USE?
We recommend using 100% Human Remy hair. We also work with DreamCatchers. You are free to supply your own hair as well.
HOW MUCH TIME IS EACH SERVICE?
Strand by Strand: 2 to 4 hours Skin Wefting: 1 to 2 hours Fast Trax: 1 to 3 hours
CAN I COLOR THE EXTENSIONS?
We do not recommend coloring or bleaching the extension hair as it’s already undergone several chemical processes. Coloring the hair could result in dry, damaged hair.
CAN I STYLE THE EXTENSIONS?
The hair is 100% human and can be blow-dried, curled, and styled as usual.
HOW LONG DO EXTENSIONS LAST?
Strand by Strand: 2 to 4 months
Skin Wefts: 6 to 10 weeks
Fast Trax: 2 to 4 months
For the least amount of stress on your hair it is best to wear extensions for 2 months. No one should wear extensions over 6 months.
BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT FAQ
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT?
Anyone who has frizzy, damaged or processed hair is a fantastic canidate. We have performed the treatment on every hair type from fine to course, frizzy and curly.
WHAT IS THE FINAL RESULTS OF A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT?
The hair will be left totally frizz-free, shiny and with plenty of volume.
CAN I GET A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT IF I HAVE HIGHLIGHTS OR COLOR?
Yes, the Brazilian Blowout will actually improve the health of color-treated and highlighted hair.
WILL THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT MAKE MY HAIR STRAIGHT?
A Brazilian Blowout will make your hair appear naturally straight and healthy. If your hair is very curly, it will minimize frizz while enhancing the appearance of the natural curl.
HOW LONG DOES A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT LAST?
10-12 weeks if the Açai After-Care Maintenance product line is used.
CAN YOU APPLY THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT ON TOP OF OTHER RELAXERS AND STRAIGHTENERS?
Yes. The Brazilian Blowout actually works best on chemically treated hair. The Brazilian Blowout works great directly on top of a relaxer too.
WILL MY HAIR LOSE VOLUME FROM A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT?
No, your hair will not lose volume.
CAN YOU COLOR YOUR HAIR THE SAME DAY?
Yes. You can color your hair prior to having the Brazilian Blowout.
